The Garden

Plants disperse their seeds on the wind and on the legs of insects, their progeny moves from one generation to another. Therefore it is reasonable to assume that all around us plants are growing that may be descended from their forefathers who grew in the Garden of Eden. We share a common origin but they, unlike us, were not banished, they simply moved on. Through the study of these plants clues may be found about the form and nature of the inhabitants of the Earthly Paradise and how to retrace their steps back to the Garden. These paintings, in oil on copper, represent the thought, or memory of the originating garden, seen from minds that are by now firmly rooted in the city.
